For Independence Day, my family was invited to the notable house of Jim and Jan. Jim and Jan are friends of my aunt and uncle, and have possibly one of the best decorated houses ever. They could be in a Better Homes and Gardens Magazine. We ate hamburgers and all manner of salads(pasta salad, broccoli salad, fruit salad...). We didn't set of fireworks, but played Uno, and made banana splits. It was a pretty mellow fourth of July for us, but that was just fine.
Even our cars are red, white and blue!

mmmmm...sundaes....(mine can't technically be called a banana split because there are no bananas in it. because I think bananas are gross.)
